So the million dollar question is who the hell is Nitin Gupta ?
Real Name - Nitin Gupta
Nick Names - NG, Yenji, Gupta, and the list goes on….
I was born on 5th August 198X (Man I am getting old) in this city named Kanpur located at the bank of Holy River Ganga which is now a days not so holy because of the rise in pollution level of the city. After completing my 5th Grade from West Cott School I got admission in city’s best college (I must say that times’ best, now I am not sure :p) in State Board - Christ Church Inter College. During my secondary boards got shocked with the numbers helped me in hardly getting a first division. Anyway, I took some lessons and moved on next couple years went crucial for me I become more focused for the first time in my life - had a good higher secondary exams and cleared JEE next year got admitted myself to IIT Kanpur - a suppose to be place of all mughoo’s of India. Well got worried that I am going to compete with some big guns of India, I had a nightmare that I had to study a lot - and blah blah. But to my surprise, place turned out to be a completely different place atleast for me. Next four years full of masti, learnings, friends, and what not well I think I was among those who took lotsa things to there life from IIT K and I feel there were only few who don’t feel this way. I can write pages about my life at my iitk but I think this is not a right place. Thankfully I graduated ontime, but wasn’t a right time as most of us were struggling to get into best place. I was among lucky lads got offer from The University of Queensland, Australia. Next three months was really among the coolest days of my life. I must say Brisbane Rocks, Australia Rocks. Stayed with some international students it was a total fun and learning experience living and working there. But I took off from there and came back to India to join Software Industry got ditched from the place I had offer. Joined startup to complete my dream of working with startups but it wasn’t a good experience. Very very fortunately got selected by Yahoo! Worked for Yahoo! Shopping and Yahoo! Search teams for more than an year. Again it was a nice learning experience. Working with Yahoo! is a great fun with learnings. I must say that Yahoo! is among The Best place to work. But I was looking for more challenging opportunities, after thinking a tons, I joined Andale Inc. as Business Analyst in Strategy Team, it is a completely new dimension for me although most of the times I am coding the same way I used to do in my previous company but here I got chance to see direct impact of my work. These days, I am thoroughly enjoying my work at Andale. We have a small team of highly talented junta. Now, I have completed more than three years here.
