There are many positives about the movie that covers up minor failures, let me first start with things I din’t liked about this movie. First of all too many songs, ummm on second thoughts may not be too many songs but timing of songs were not very well although Rehman’s Music rocked but timing of couple of songs especially of song “Ek kay sath ek free” was not very well. Another point is court scene around the end of movie could have gone better, although scene was good but there were few logical voids in that scene. Committee seems to be very cheaply impressed with emotinal/sentimental dialogues from Gurubhai. On plus side it was a powerhouse performance right from Abhishek Bachhan to Arya Babbar. Well for those who din’t noticed role of Abhishek’s sala (Aish’s sister) was played by Arya Babbar (son of Raj Babbar). Aish was looking stunning as usual, each time I look at Aish I feel like kicking Abhishek, ok coming back to movie. Songs were very well picturised location and background were perfect. Abhishek is really coming upto the pace with each movie and I must say this movie is certainly a turning point for him, I guess this performance can put him right among the top guns of bollywood. Direction, well there are few directors who just can’t do one thing which is not perfect in its own class, this movie is just an example of that. Generally in big movies small roles were hushed up, but in this movie small roles were very well done and perceived thanks to suberb starcast. Given good options, MidhunDa can really do good stuff for good movies. Chemistry of Vidya Balan and Madhavan was also looking good on screen. I will also like to appreciate the intensity with which small roles of kantilal, Anand Patekar and Gyanshayam Bhai were played by Rajendra Gupta, Darshan Jariwala and Manoj Joshi respectively.
